It was a spooky episode of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite Wednesday night in Boston.
The card saw Darby Allin make his return to exact revenge on MJF, CM Punk beat Bobby Fish and the Lucha Bros. challenged FTR to a match at Full Gear for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Elsewhere on the show, we saw Cody Rhodes cut a riveting promo on his decision not to turn and The Elite took on Dark Order in the main event.

Sammy Guevara makes good on his word

AEW’s TNT Champion made good on his promise to defeat ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page Wednesday night. The match was fast-paced and had a lot of high flying spots and counters.
Guevara is always entertaining in the ring, but Page also really stood out Wednesday night. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him in singles action, but he didn’t disappoint.
The finish of the match also helped keep Men of the Year look strong, as Guevara won by a pinning predicament. After the match, Scorpio Sky and Page attacked the champion, but were thwarted by the Inner Circle.
Chris Jericho cut a fiery promo, which paraphrased Aerosmith and proclaimed that his faction would put the hurt on Men of the Year and American Top Team at the Full Gear pay-per-view.
Moxley isn’t messing around

Jon Moxley made quick work of Dark Order’s 10 Wednesday night. Moxley left his opponent beaten, battered and bloodied in a mostly lopsided match.
If fans went into the show expecting to see a long match, they were greatly disappointed. AEW’s ‘Purveyor of Violence’ is clearly on his way to a heel turn.
He told the world he didn’t care about the tournament, demolished 10 and next week will look to brutalize another fan favoruite in Orange Cassidy. Here’s to hoping this ends with Moxley having a showdown with everyone’s favourite cowboy.
Shida and Deeb go for broke

Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb absolutely stole the show in their TBS Title Tournament match. If you missed this contest, you've got to go back and watch it.
Deeb has excelled recently in her role as a grizzled villain and when you add Shida to the mix, it’s a recipe for magic. Without giving too much away, this match was a great mix of classic wrestling psychology and modern pacing.
While Shida did emerge victoriously, the post-match assault she suffered at the hands of Deeb now has AEW’s fan base wondering if she’ll be able to compete. It’s something to watch in the coming days to see if Shida is being written out of the tournament, or they’re trying to give her the “wounded hero” tournament run.
The Elite see a ghost

The big highlight coming out of Wednesday’s main event was ‘Hangman’ Adam Page outsmarting his former friends.
Page helped Dark Order earn a victory by disguising himself as a ghostbusters character and making the save while the referee was down and out. It was also hilarious to see that Dark Order had kidnapped Brandon Cutler and thrown him in a horse costume.
In two weeks, Page will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. But for now, he’ll be able to put the biggest match of his career to the side and celebrate Halloween with his friends.
