Diffusing Dynamite Nov. 3

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) was back in action tonight with another episode of Dynamite as they built towards Full Gear. A loaded card was announced for the show highlighted by the last semi-final match of the AEW Championship Eliminator Tournament, Orange Cassidy vs Miro.

Also on the card FTR successfully defended the AAA Tag Team Titles against Aerostar and Samuray Del Sol, Kenny Omega defeated Alan “5” Angels and Cody Rhodes took a rough loss to Andrade El Idolo.

As always the Diffusing Dynamite team of Joseph Casciaro and Gavin Axelrod have you covered for all things AEW!

The opening contest of Dynamite saw Kenny Omega make quick work of Alan “5” Angels of Dark Order. However, post-match Omega was not done and he wanted to injure Angels with a One-Winged Angel on a chair.

As Omega lifted Angels out came Omega’s championship challenger at Full Gear, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. Omega fled from the ring, but he left behind his AEW Championship. Page lifted the title and told Omega to hold on tight because he only has 10 days with the title left!

Superkliq gets a taste of their own medicine

For weeks now The Superkliq has been attacking Jurassic Express and Christian Cage, but tonight the roles were reversed. Cage and Jurassic Express turned the tables and attacked The Superkliq backstage.

Adam Cole and The Young Bucks got picked apart, they were chokeslammed and Cole even got locked in The Snare Trap. They finished off the attack with Cage connecting on Cole with a conchairto! This has been such an entertaining feud and I cannot wait for their match at Full Gear!

Inner Circle makes their picks

Inner Circle was out on Dynamite to choose which members of the American Top Team they want in their 10 man street fight at Full Gear. Inner Circle made some bold choices choosing Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovsky and to the surprise of all they chose Dan Lambert! Full Gear will be an all-out brawl and I am hoping for a good match to conclude this feud.

MJF continues to get personal

MJF was out on Dynamite to speak to Darby Allin once again, and once again he made things personal. He told him that he is not able to be a normal functioning member of society and he is just like the people in the crowd.

Everyone boos him because they know they can never be as good as him, he said, and they wish they could be like him. MJF then began to toot his own horn talking about he is one of the best on the microphone and he backs it up in the rings, which is why Allin will never be as good as him.

Allin then responded by saying Full Gear will be a fair wrestling match, but tonight he will let all his anger out. Allin then began charging the ring and Sting emerged from the back, Wardlow and Shawn Spears tried to come help but they were stopped by dozens of masked people.

MJF and Allin then began brawling in the crowd, Allin landed a crazy sprinting clothesline sending MJF over the barricade. Allin then attempted for a Coffin Drop, but MJF retreated through the crowd. Their match at Full Gear has show-stealing potential in my opinion.

Andrade vs Cody ends in chaos

Andrade El Idolo and Cody Rhodes squared off on Dynamite, but the match did not end as clean as expected. As Arn Anderson and Andrade’s assistant battled on the outside distracting the referee, FTR emerged from under the ring hitting Cody with their titles knocking him out.

Andrade was then able to capitalize and get the win, after the match Andrade and FTR attempted to continue the beat down. Out to make the save came AEW Tag Team Champions, The Lucha Bros, and they were able to get their hands on FTR. This was a great match and we saw the continuation of two separate feuds.

Miro cashes his ticket to Full Gear

(Twitter via @AEW)

On Tuesday it was announced that Jon Moxley would be taking a leave from AEW to enter rehab for alcohol abuse, therefore he relinquished his spot in the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament. In to take his spot was Miro, and he was up against Orange Cassidy in the semi-finals.

Miro absolutely destroyed Cassidy in this main event, the only offence Cassidy really got was flying off the top rope sending Miro through a table on the outside. However, that was not enough and Miro was able to lock in Game Over to make Cassidy pass out.

At Full Gear, it will now be Miro vs Bryan Danielson in the tournament finals in what should be a fantastic match. The winner will become the number one contender to the AEW Championship!
