The Jan. 20 edition of Dynamite saw ‘Hangman’ Adam Page make a huge decision regarding his future

The birthday bash for -1 Brodie Lee Jr. kicked off an action-packed episode of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite Wednesday night. Kenny Omega also addressed the AEW faithful and Jon Moxley returned to action.
Elsewhere on the card, Matt Sydal teamed with Top Flight against Private Party and Matt Hardy, Cody defeated Peter Avalon and Penelope Ford earned a victory over Leyla Hirsch.
Team Taz also challenged Darby Allin and Sting to a fight, which could take place any week. AEW also announced a tag team battle royal, which will take place in two weeks to decide who will face The Young Bucks at the Revolution pay-per-view for the tag team titles.

Did ‘Hangman’ Adam Page join the Dark Order?

Everyone’s favourite cowboy ‘Hangman’ Adam Page has been interacting with the Dark Order for months now. Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite saw ‘Hangman’ make a decision on his future and it was heartbreaking.
The relationship between Page and Dark Order seems to be over, at least for now. This also means we won’t see the popular tag team of “The Good, The Bad and The Hungee” anymore either.
Page promised to make a decision on joining Dark Order this past Monday on the Being The Elite YouTube show. But after a phenomenal eight-man tag match to open the show, he explained he couldn’t do the group thing because of what happened with the last group he was involved with.
The ‘Hangman’ used to be a member of The Elite, but after he tried to leave they kept on dragging him back in. This caused him to go into a downward spiral, picking up a bad drinking habit and losing all his former friends in the process.
Despite him not joining Dark Order on this night, it feels as though this isn’t the end of the relationship between the two parties.
All roads in professional wrestling lead to Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley is one of the best wrestlers on the planet, he has no fear and most importantly, he’s inevitable.
The former AEW World Champion was in action Wednesday against young upstart Nick Comoroto. It was a hard hitting match, but in the snap of a finger, Moxley was able to render his opponent unconscious with a vicious choke submission.
Moxley cut a passionate promo after the match where he said it doesn’t matter who is in The Elite, Bullet Club or if you come from another country, all roads in the sport lead to him. He also added that the more bodies in front of him, the better.
It’s hard being The Elite these days

The Young Bucks were supposed to team with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega on last week's Dynamite in what would’ve been a reunion for The Elite, but Don Callis had other plans. Callis swindled The Bucks and The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows fought alongside Omega instead.
This week on Dynamite the AEW World Tag Team Champions wanted answers. They went to Kenny Omega’s house where they were greeted by Don Callis.
The “Invisible Hand’ tried to pay off The Bucks to stop being friends with Omega, but as they said, you can’t buy out 12 years of friendship. Matt and Nick Jackson had enough and they cornered Callis as the segment ended with him screaming in pain.
Later in the show at the arena, a camera caught Callis making a phone call in the locker room. He was sporting a black eye and Kenny Omega vowed to exact revenge on whoever was responsible for attacking his manager.
To add another wrinkle to this debacle between friends, what’s up with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page? He could get involved in this match next week too.
Finally, prior to the main event, it was announced The Young Bucks would team with Anderson and Gallows to take on Dark Order. Will the two teams who used to represent Bullet Club be able to coexist? Only time will tell.
Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament announced

AEW fans rejoiced at the announcement of a tournament beginning next week to crown a new number one contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The bracket will feature 16 entrants.
Fans started to speculate Wednesday night that the tournament could be in a USA vs Japan format. It’s more likely the flag of Japan was included because that’s where AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida is from.
What is likely, is we’re going to see an influx of talent from the IMPACT Wrestling women’s division. Fan favourites such as Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie and Jorydnne Grace would be excellent additions to the field.
As for a final four, I’ll go with Grace and Nyla Rose in the semi-finals on the left side. On the right side of the bracket, I’ll go with a matchup between a returning Riho and Britt Baker.
MJF and Jericho emerge as the Inner Circle tag team
Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Chris Jericho won Wednesday’s main event, to become the official tag team of the Inner Circle.
The match was very exciting and much needed on a show that lacked great matches. Sammy Guevara stole the show with his high flying offense, but in the end MJF pinned him by grabbing a handful of his tights.
More importantly, where do Santana and Ortiz go from here? The duo dubbed Proud and Powerful (PnP) were specifically recruited to join the faction to compete for tag team gold.
Chris Jericho said this match was supposed to help stop the infighting, but it may have done more harm than good.
Next week: Lance Archer battles Eddie Kingston, the Women’s Title Eliminator begins and The Bucks and Good Brothers team up to take on Dark Order.
