All Elite Wrestling (AEW) hosted Winter is Coming, a special edition of Dynamite tonight. The card was highlighted by the long-awaited AEW World Championship match with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page defending against Bryan Danielson.

Also on the show was Serena Deeb vs Hikaru Shida, Wardlow vs Matt Sydal and the Dynamite Diamond Ring Finals between MJF and Dante Martin.

As always the Diffusing Dynamite team of Joseph Casciaro and Gavin Axelrod have you covered for all things AEW!

60 Minute Classic

Winter is Coming opened up with the clash between ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Bryan Danielson, with Page defending the AEW World Championship. This was easily one of the best matches in AEW history and both men put on a clinic.

Both men were able to land all their best shots, but unfortunately in this bout, nobody was able to score a pin-fall. The match ended in a 60-minute time-limit draw with both men out on the mat.

There is no doubt in my mind that Page and Danielson will battle again because a feud like this deserves a clear-cut winner.

Cole has a surprise

Adam Cole, The Young Bucks and Bobby Fish delivered a backstage promo to call out The Best Friends. These men were saying how it does not matter what Best Friends do because they cannot beat them.

Cole then pulled out a Christmas present and said next week on Dynamite he has the best surprise ever for The Young Bucks. Is AEW about to get Undisputed?

House of Black

Malakai Black had a video package air on Dynamite and it was inside the House of Black. It seems like Black is grooming a new counterpart and he spit the black mist into the face of the House of Black’s newest member.

Black then told the new member, “you are more than a King,” could this be the arrival of Brody King into the House?

3-PEAT

The main event of Dynamite was the finals for the Dynamite Diamond Ring between MJF and Dante Martin. It was a fantastic match and both men had a great showing, but in the end for the third straight year, MJF has won the Dynamite Diamond Ring! It is a 3-peat for MJF!

Massive six-man tag announced

Following the main event, FTR was out to celebrate with their friend MJF, but as the celebration kicked off the lights went out. When the lights came back on Darby Allin and Sting were in the ring looking for revenge on FTR.

A brawl broke out, but the numbers game was in MJF and FTR’s favour as they were able to get the advantage. That is when CM Punk came running out to get to MJF, but he and FTR scattered from the ring.

Punk then grabbed a microphone to tell MJF next week to bring his friends and he’ll bring his friends for a massive six-man tag team match! MJF and FTR vs CM Punk, Darby Allin and Sting!
