All Elite Wrestling (AEW) continued their build towards All Out tonight with Dynamite and they had quite the show to get the fans excited. The main event of the show was the much anticipated final labour of Jericho with Chris Jericho finally taking on MJF.

Also announced on the card was The Young Bucks defending the AEW Tag Team Championships against Jurassic Express and Thunder Rosa would take on Penelope Ford. The Icon Sting would also be having his first match on TNT in 20 years as he teamed up with Darby Allin against 2.0.

As always the Diffusing Dynamite team of Joseph Casciaro and Gavin Axelrod have you covered for all things AEW!

Sting returns to the ring on TNT

AEW Dynamite opened up with 2.0 trying to make a statement by attacking Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston and then calling out Sting and Darby Allin for their tornado tag team match. Sting and Darby were ready to go and for Sting's first match on TNT in 20 years he showed the world why he is The Icon.

The highlight of the match was Sting not selling a double powerbomb through a table and then hitting a double Scorpion Death Drop. He then locked both members of 2.0 in a double Scorpion Death Lock to secure the win for his team!

Sammy finally puts Spears away

Since The Pinnacle and Inner Circle feud began Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara have been at each other's throats. For months Spears and Guevara have wanted to destroy one another and on Dynamite, we finally got to see them go one on one to finish off this feud.

For the finale of a feud both men left it all out there and blew me away with an amazing match! Guevara really showed us all why he is the future and there is no doubt he will be AEW World Champion one day.

Guevara was all over Spears and finished the match by putting spears onto a metal guard rail with a death valley driver, hitting a 630, three knees to the face and then finally a GTH. Sammy toppled over Spears and he can now continue his way to the top of AEW!

Men of The Year have a new target

Dan Lambert returned to AEW Dynamite tonight after being attacked by Lance Archer a month ago and this time he brought some UFC fighters as his backup. Lambert took time to bash AEW and he expected Archer to be too afraid to come out, but he was wrong.

Archer charged for the ring, but on his way, he was attacked by the Men of The Year Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. They laid Archer out and seem to have a new enemy they are after.

The Elite remain on top

The Young Bucks were defending their AEW Tag Team Championships against Jurassic Express on Dynamite and they had quite the packed corner. Supporting them was every member of The Elite except AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega.

The match itself was great, but the numbers ended up being too much and they even got some extra help. Omega ended up running to the ring when the referee was distracted to throw a chair into the ring.

However, that did not help and Christian Cage came to chase Omega to the back, but the damage was already done. With the numbers being too much for Jurassic Express it took one BTE Trigger for The Bucks to retain their gold.

Post-match was when a battle ensued Omega came out of the back with Doc Gallows carrying a knocked-out Cage and then the beat down continued. The Elite proceeded to beat down Jurassic Express and Cage, and this ended with Omega hitting Cage with a One-Winged Angel and Callis counting to three. This feud is really starting to heat up leading into All Out!

Paul Wight to make AEW in-ring debut

(Twitter via @AEW)

Paul Wight formerly known as Big Show was out on Dynamite to address the crowd after laying out The Factory last week. He was rudely interrupted by an angry Factory, and they were taunting him about all his injuries and surgeries.

Wight then alerted the crowd that he has talked with Tony Khan and that at All Out he will be making his AEW in-ring debut at All Out against QT Marshall!

Tag Team Eliminator Tournament

The Young Bucks are in need of challengers for All Out and Tony Khan has thought of the perfect way to find those challengers. It was announced there will be a Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament with The Varsity Blondes, Private Party, Jurassic Express and The Lucha Bros. The winners of this tournament will go on to All Out to face The Bucks in a steel cage match for the AEW Tag Team Titles!

Jericho cannot beat labour 5

(Twitter via @AEW)

The main event was the final labour of Jericho with Chris Jericho taking on MJF with the condition that Jericho could not have his Judas theme song play or use the Judas Effect finishing move. The song did not end up being much of an issue as the Houston crowd sang his entire theme song as he made his way to the ring.

However, the ban on his finishing move ended up being his downfall as the match came to a close. Jericho saw the referee distracted and hit MJF in the stomach with his baseball bat, he then was about to hit Judas Effect stopping halfway realizing it was not allowed.

MJF then saw the frozen Jericho and took this to his advantage, hitting his own Judas Effect. He then locked Jericho in the armbar and on Dynamite he made one of the greatest wrestlers of all time tap out!

MJF overcame Jericho tonight, but this cannot be how this feud ends because of all these conditions. These men need one final battle to finish this feud at All Out!

Next Week: Varsity Blondes vs Lucha Brothers, Red Velvet vs Jamie Hayter, Orange Cassidy vs Matt Hardy and Malakai Black vs Brock Anderson!
